'Heimat': mostly used in the morning; 46°24'52' (46.4146)N; 8°6'29' (8.10819)E - Elevation : 2137 m. 'Galvera': used in the afternoon (shown on map) LZ 'Fiesch': quite big for PG, not so big anymore for HG; LZ has been reduced in 2008! (see pix!) Fairly easy (see also wx-hazards). 10min walk to cablecar station. Only very limited parking space avbl; large P at cablecar station. Other marked LZ avbl in the 'Goms'-valley. AVOID: 'Bise' (NE-wind), 'Foehn' (S-Wind). Wind in the valley can become quite strong in the afternoon. When flying East: 'Grimselschlange' (N-wind flowing over Grimsel-pass) can cause problems.
