Two 3-5 metre sand dunes then the dunes run from anywhere up to 40 km of dune gooning. Anywhere along the 90 mile beach as it has some great flat beach landing areas. From Sale head towards Longford then take the turn off towards Golden beach. Follow 30 mins to Golden beach, at the roundabout in the small town turn left and follow the road with the ocean on your right for 3 km until you come across the beach camping ground. Find the main entrance walkway to the beach and walk to the wooden lookout area.. when facing the beach, walk 30 metres to your right and there are the take off dunes. The site regs are here.. During the weekday please contact Air Traffic Control at RAAF Base East Sale 123.3 03 5146 7221 -7214 Please state where you are flying, and estimated heights, normally just state 15 metres. During the weekdays pc9's fly at around 250 feet through this airspace but if you contact they will advise pilots. weekends this airspace is not in effect perfect days to fly it .. If you decide to fly towards seaspray then please also be advised that Exxon-Mobil have Helicopters flying from 500-1000 feet in a corridor from Golden beach to Seaspray you can contact them on 03 5149 6500 they operate 7 days a week on this airspace. Once again sale RAAF Base Said they will advise the pilots but to be sure I would also ring them.. On this site you can easily get 50 klm flights up and down this beach on correct wind strength days the dunes go on and on for 90 miles.. -7215 state where you are flying (direction) and also heights (average around 10-15 metres) during the weekdays pc9's fly as low as 250 feet so contact traffic control so they can advise the pilots ...
