This site is a MEMBERS site only, the land owner who is a club member lives at the bottom of the hill and does his own checks to make sure members only fly on this site. All club members are briefed to check pilots are firstly qualified and secondly a member of green dragons before they fly Site membership is available on a daily or yearly basis To pay for one day membership please pay £5 by paypal to fly@greendragons and keep your confirmation email as a receipt If you do not have ANY membership to Green Dragons you will be asked to leave. Please help us to keep the site open by following our sportsman ship code.

Park on Clarks Lane in the lay-bys On the South Side of the road is a small footpath leading down to the gate and fence line of the site. If you enter the site please pay your £5 daily fee. The site is suitable for any pilot who is CP rated, if in doubt seek out a club coach. Take of is a large flat open grassland area suitable for pilots of all levels Take off best in middle of the open field. Please note a Public footpath runs along the back of take off, take care when taking off or landing. Due to local airspace both behind the site and in front a local site brief with an experienced pilot is advisable. Max height is 2500ft or 762m Above sea level, climbing out is easy. Top slope and bottom landing all available, be aware there are sometimes cattle in the bottom landing field and also there are thin electric wire fences in the lower field. Be careful with the trees and the obvious turbulence they can cause. Also if top landing again be aware of the Public footpath along the tree line. The public do like to sit down and watch. Please be courteous. The site is 15 miles from central london, car parking for 10+ cars available The site is close to the junction of the M25/A22 Local landmarks are Biggin Hill Airport, Croydon Be careful with the airspace in the area, use your UP TO DATE airmaps Airspace for Biggin Hill is 300M behind take off and Gatwick Airspace is 1.5 miles out to the front. The site is best flown in a South or South,South east wind direction.. Due to the shallow slope a steady wind is best to fly the site and around 10-15 mph is we what we find works best. REMEMBER YOUR THE PILOT IN COMMAND There are trees to the left right and behind turbulence is to be expected if the wind is off. BE CAREFUL
